Event Overview
Join us in the scenic foothills of the North Georgia Mountains for a weekend of running, remembrance, and celebration. Run 4 Rangers honors the service and sacrifice of Army Rangers and all those who serve, with events for runners of all skill levels and a full lineup of Veterans Day festivities.
Race Events
Saturday, November 8 – Hancock Park, Downtown Dahlonega
- 10K (9:00 a.m.)
A hybrid course featuring both road and trail sections, offering a challenging run with incredible views around the reservoir and foothills.
- 5K (9:15 a.m.)
A fast-paced course through secure city streets. Great for both seasoned runners and first-timers.
Sunday, November 9 – Camp Merrill
- Half Marathon: “Mountain Marathon” (11:30 a.m.)
Take on the same forestry service roads used by the U.S. Army Rangers in training. This rugged off-road course near the Appalachian Trail includes significant climbs and rewarding views.
Ranger Challenge
Take your weekend to the next level by completing either the 5K or 10K on Saturday and the Half Marathon on Sunday. Earn bragging rights and exclusive recognition.

Race Day Information
5K & 10K (Saturday):
- Race Day Registration: 7:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. at the Hancock Park Pavilion
- Start Times: 10K – 9:00 a.m., 5K – 9:15 a.m.
Half Marathon (Sunday):
- Registration: 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. at Camp Merrill
- Start Time: 11:30 a.m.
Awards & Recognition
- 5K Awards: Overall and Masters Male/Female, plus age groups: 10 & Under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+
- 10K & Half Marathon Awards: Overall and Masters Male/Female, plus age groups: 14 & Under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+
- Top Overall Finishers in each race will receive a handcrafted Custom Ranger Plaque.

All proceeds from Run 4 Rangers benefit OnPoint 1-1’s nonprofit mission to support Army Rangers and their families in their transition to civilian life. If you can’t attend, you can still make an impact by donating or purchasing a commemorative race shirt.
