March is being recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month, however every month we should recognize the crisis of the Mental Health of our Veterans. It is so important to be aware of the increase in suicides within Special Operations and to not continue the stigma associated with mental illness. Please let someone know if you are struggling and never be afraid to ask for help. Please help us Spread Awareness and if you know someone who may be struggling, call them and let them know you are thinking about them and they are not alone.
*If you're thinking about suicide, are worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support, the Lifeline network is available 24/7 across the United States. Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (800-273-8255) to reach a trained counselor. Use that same number and press "1" to reach the Veterans Crisis Line.
