Ride for Rangers Press Release

The United States Army Rangers and OnPoint 1-1 are Sponsoring the 1st annual Ride for Rangers Charity Cycling event on Sunday April 28, 2019 at Lumpkin County Middle School in Dahlonega, GA.

Ride for Rangers will be a Charity fundraising 64 mile Metric road cycling event through the beautiful N. GA Mountains and GA Wine Country. In addition, there will be a 32 Mile Half-Metric and a 20 Mile Fun Ride along the same route. The event is also surrounded by the “Bear on the Square” Festival on the 27th and 28th of April, and the 5th Ranger Training Battalion “Open House” and Mountain Ranger Association “Critter Cookout” at Ranger Camp Merrill, near Dahlonega, on April 27th, 2019.

Cycling event begins at 8 a.m. with registration packets available for pick up at 7 a.m.

Sponsor opportunities for all events are available, and donations are welcome. Registration for all events is available on the website, along with detailed schedules and course maps.

Proceeds are used for Veterans Aid and Support Programs as outlined on the website. Please support your Army Rangers and all Veterans!
