Ride for Rangers

Join us for a charity bike ride honoring the 75th anniversary of the 75th Ranger Regiment D-Day assault at Normandy Beach and Pointe du Hoc, France. It is a 75 mile Metric Charity Bike Ride (Ride for Rangers) with a 20 mile fun ride and 32 mile half-metric course integrated. Registration will begin at 7:00 am and the ride will start at 8:00 am and end mid-afternoon. A unique foothills course will be the highlight of this event, but the final 20 miles will be very aggressive. The event will start in the parking lot of Lumpkin County Middle School.

Courses will be along a unique foothills road route and each course will be part of the same initial route. Vineyards and wineries are on the routes. Spring colors should be abundant. Enjoy Historic Dahlonega and the surrounding area! Routes will be clearly marked and are posted below. Rest stations will be every 10-15 miles. SAG vehicles will be present on all segments.


75 Mile Metric - $50 ($42.50 early registration)
32 Mile Metric - $40 ($34 early registration)
20 Mile Metric - $30 ($27 early registration)

Race day packet pick up and Day of event registration will be available beginning at 7 a.m. in parking lot of Lumpkin County Middle School in Dahlonega, GA. Same day registration cost will increase by 20%. Pre-registration strongly requested for planning purposes. Registration fee refundable less $10 for T-shirt (will be mailed to you) with cancellation within 72 hours prior to event. Registration fee fully refundable with cancellation within 7 days prior to event. Walk-up registrants will not be guaranteed a T-shirt for the event.
